Insanely, you can always see health and fitness conscious people, right after you leave the gym, with the glowing stalk in your hand. A well deserved reward cigarette after the hard workout can’t hurt. Or does it? In a healthy, active lifestyle, smoking simply has no place.
Health Effects of Smoking
They set off in the gym for a steel body, they eat healthy and leave candy bars and fries aside. While sport promotes your fitness and health, smoking reduces the physical efficiency and is the cause of numerous diseases. By smoking you ultimately destroy everything hard-worked again in the blink of an hand. Even so hard regular training can not compensate for the negative consequences of smoking. Conversely, smoking hinders the increase of your athletic performance.
Effects of Smoking On The Body
Smoking can, among other things, lead to a poorer muscle build-up and dramatically accelerates muscle degradation in old age. But why is that? Smokers inhale with the cigarette smoke Carbon monoxide, which binds to the red blood dye, the so called hemoglobin. This can only absorb significantly less oxygen.

Smoking Affect Your Immune System
The skin is also affected. In addition, there are so called free radicals that can damage your skin cells. Smoking also leads to collagen degradation. And the cold smoke, which wears off in clothing, but also in the skin and hair, does not exactly make attractive.
Moreover, smoking also leaves its mark on the blood vessels. The blood vessels are narrowed over time and are damaged by the constant nicotine load.
